I was asked to design the staging for the play 'The Seven Dancing Sultanas' , presented by Y'Chessa Dahli. The problem was that there was very limited time allowed for dressing and undressing the stage. I did most of the design with fabric streamers that representated the tents that were supposed to be the palaces of the Sultan and his nemises the Enchantress. With minor changes and a change of lighting we were able to differentiate between the red and blue 'kingdoms', and best of all we were able to strike the set quickly and make it to the cast party!
